The Barnhart visit

We visited Jason's friends Brian and Marcie at their home in Salem, OR from Saturday afternoon and we left Tues morning. They have 2 little boys very close in age to ours. Jacob is 2 mths older than Tristan and Austin is a year younger than Griffin. They had a BLAST playing together! Every morning that we woke up it was instant chasing time and wrestling and giggling. *Note: 2 boys is MORE than enough for me!! 4 boys is quite insane!*

Brian started a new shift right before we came out so he spent half the time sleeping when he wasn't working. But we still got to see him. Saturday night we rested from the long drive, had pizza for dinner and just hung out at the house.

Sunday we had a nice relaxing time while Brian and his family attended church. We all got cleaned up and napped. The boys spent their time riding the quad for.ever!


They went crazy over this thing! Apparently we need to get the one we have up and running. They rode it a good part of Monday too until they ran right into Marcie's Japanese Maple Trunk. OOPS!

Sunday evening we went bowling where everyone but Austin had a blast! The kids had their own lane and the parents had their own.


Jason, Brian and Marcie used to play on a league team together.


Marcie kicked both their butts the first game lol Tristan won both times among the kids


Griffin HATED waiting his turn he was SO excited to roll the ball down the lane. very.slowly. Poor people that worked there had to retreive at least 10 balls because they didn't make it down there in time lol


Monday we spent the day chilling and playing while Marcie was at work then promptly headed up to Portland to go to the Oregon Zoo. Pics from that in the next post!
